Pine Ridge Records Inc. presents Nashville recording artist, Singer/Songwriter Chance Tomke to the spotlight. Chance brings to the table a mix of old school Kenny Chesney country vibes and Jason Aldean fun loving upbeat country rock.
That being said, Chance has also never been an artist who follows trends. Instead his unique voice and authentic craftsmanship in his songwriting shows that he truly knows himself as an artist who attempts to only trend on what feels right to him.
Like all great country music his ability to tell a story through the lyrics and melodies that range from fun and upbeat to heartfelt with deep meaning is compelling and something that country music is sometimes missing these days. But the best thing about Chance is that he’s a humble, kind and down to earth human being.
As an emerging artist, Chance Tomke already has quite the resume with 2 studio records and the 3rd one scheduled to be released in 2022. Starting with his newest single “What Can’t You”, which drops to all digital platforms and radio in January 2022.
Highlights consist of hitting ‘Canada’s Top Featured Albums’ for iTunes country genre, his nomination as New Male Vocal Artist, Male artist and songwriter of the Year at the ACMA’s (Alberta Country Music Association), his latest single “Steel” charting #46 on the XM charts, and performing at the CCMA’s (Canadian Country Music Awards) Week.
Chance was raised in Northern Alberta, in the small town of Wembley on a farm with many things around to inspire his young musical mind. He was influenced by many artists such as Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson and George Strait because of their own unique storytelling in their songs.
By the age of 10, Chance was playing guitar and writing songs on his handed down 12-string guitar from his deceased Father (Blair Tomke). Chance also had an outstanding hockey career playing Junior A for the Grande Prairie Storm which came to an abrupt halt when he was sidelined by a career-ending groin injury.
Chance now splits his time between Canada and the US while raising his 5 year old daughter Presley Tomke.
